Herbs, Veges and Community

Location

The Taringa St Community Garden is located in Ashfield NSW, at the bottom of the T of Taringa St, in the small park on Alt St, opposite to Charlotte St.

History

The Taringa St community garden was established in 2016 with assistance from Ashfield Council (now amalgamated into the Inner West Council), and all involved are very grateful for their support of this new community project.

Working Days.

Gardening Days at the Taringa St Community Garden take place every so often. If you'd like to be involved, please contact us and find out more about joining the Community Garden. Members pay a small annual fee to cover the costs of the garden. You don't need to bring anything, as tools and safety gear will be provided.

Covid-19

We are very pleased to be able to announce that we can recommence gardening after the COVID-19 enforced hiatus. If you come to garden with us, please maintain appropriate physical distancing and accept the reasonable advice of our gardening leader. Just as we work together to establish a flourishing garden, we'd like to work with all our gardeners to make sure everyone is safe.
